How we handle your information

A few things to know before you start, in plain language:

• What we collect: the information and documents you provide about your tenant matter — including your lease, payment records, and your communication with the tenant.
• Why we collect it: to assess your matter, guide you through the process, and prepare the draft letters you need.
• Who processes it: Property Recovery, and trusted AI service providers acting on our behalf — some of whom process data outside South Africa, under data-processing agreements that meet POPIA requirements.
• Other people's information: your documents may contain personal information about your tenant or others. By uploading them, you confirm you have the right to share that information with us for this purpose.
• Your rights: you can access, correct, or request deletion of your information at any time. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
